Life Update | January 2019

Hi readers! Long time no post. I mentioned in my last post that I had a really busy Christmas period and honestly, I’ve still been so busy since then too. I don’t really have anything bookish to post and I haven’t been reading nearly as much as I had hoped I’d be reading, so I thought I’d give you a little life update and tell you what’s been going on!

So, I think I mentioned in a few of my posts that I’d be starting a full time job this year. I started that on January 14th and I absolutely love it. I’m working as a trainee library assistant and in all honesty, I don’t think I’ve ever loved a job as much as I love this one. I work 8-5 basically 7 days per fortnight and 9-2-2:30 2 days of the fortnight. I’ve only been in this job one week and so I’m still trying to work out how to properly manage my time. Hence why I haven’t been reading much.

On top of starting a new job, though, I’ll also be moving house in about a week. I’m moving roughly half an hour away from where I live now, so as well as being busy with new full time work, I’ve also been busy with getting packed and ready to move. I’ll be driving about an hour each way to and from work once I move, so I think I’ll be seeing a massive difference in listening to more audiobooks!

That’s all I really have to update you guys on. I’ll try to post more reviews and more regularly when I move houses and I’m in more of a routine. In the meantime, I hope 2019 is treating you all well. Happy reading!
